Your ShadowWraith CD-ROM contains three folders.
ShadowWraith ƒ - This is the most important folder. It contains the ShadowWraith application and data files. You can play the game from the CD-ROM by double-clicking on the ShadowWraith™ application icon. For better performance during level changes, drag the "ShadowWraith ƒ" folder onto your hard disk (you must have at least 15 MB or free space). IMPORTANT: Do not change the file names on any of the data files.
Sound Manager 3.1 - This folder contains the Sound Manager 3.1 extension and control panel. This will significantly improve the sound quality and game performance on both 68K and Power Macintoshes. To install, select the Sound Manager and Sound icons and drag them onto your System Folder icon (not into the open folder). Click OK in the dialog box. For changes to take effect, you will need to restart your Macintosh.
StarPlay DEMOS- Two interactive demos of StarPlay's award-winning pinball games, Crystal Caliburn and Loony Labyrinth. Order information is included in this folder and in the ShadowWraith package.
Memory
ShadowWraith requires a minimum 4950K of free RAM. Up to 6200K of free RAM is required to run ShadowWraith with all of the sound enhancements. If you’re experiencing problems with game play, refer to the memory information in the Preferences or the Error Messages and Troubleshooting sections of your Player Guide.
ShadowWraith special Upgrade Version
Be sure to register so you’ll be the first to receive information on the ShadowWraith special upgrade version to be released in the spring of 1996. This upgrade will include network support, a HighScore™ feature which allows you to compete for prizes from your home, and a new set of exciting levels. Registered users will able to purchase this Upgrade Version at a special price during this limited time offer.
Game controller sets
Inside your ShadowWraith folder are game control sets for Gravis™ and ChoiceStick™. Look in our AOL and CompuServe forums for future updates and additional sets.
